OAM is a Broad Independent Advisory Council of Maastricht Citizens.
We advise the mayor and aldermen of Maastricht, both upon request and unsolicited, on issues affecting the Maastricht community related to the social domain, diversity/inclusion, youth, and seniors.

The OA Maastricht (Independent Advisory Council Maastricht) provides the mayor and aldermen of the Municipality of Maastricht with both requested and unsolicited advice on social policy. The council aims to contribute to promoting self-reliance, individual strength, and participation of the residents through its advice.

All our working groups are open to people who do not wish to become members of the OAM but still want to contribute to our work. You must be willing to think along on topics about which we provide advice.
Due to the composition of our advisory council, the members of working groups also contribute to the discussions and advice we provide as a council on other topics. Our experience is that this integrated approach is refreshing.
